The more customers who sign up, the lower the price will be for everyone!
So if you own a home or business and have considered installing solar power, join us at the launch to meet the installers who are offering free solar assessments. Find out about pricing and talk to others in our community who have gone solar. Appetizers and refreshments provided by Zest Catering will be served.
About Solarize Saratoga
Solarize Saratoga is a volunteer-driven campaign sponsored by the City of Saratoga Springs and New York State to make it easy and affordable for households and small businesses to go solar. Combining the power of community with a smart group purchasing strategy, Solarize helps everyone learn about solar technology, benefits, choices and financing options – together. Working with highly qualified, pre-selected installation firms and community outreach volunteers, Solarize offers a progressive, tiered pricing structure that saves more money for all participants as more people step up.
Solarize campaigns nationwide have rolled out to hundreds of communities, led by government agencies and community organizations, reaching thousands of households and installing over 8 megawatts of solar power. More exciting, communities that participate in Solarize campaigns stay educated and involved after the campaigns wrap up.
Solarize Saratoga is a nine-month program spearheaded by the City of Saratoga Springs, with support from community partners Green Conscience Home and Garden and Sustainable Saratoga. The enrollment period begins in July 2015, with the last installations wrapping up in December of 2015.
