John Ciovacco to Present 3 Times on Electric Heat Pumps vs. Natural Gas

John Ciovacco, the President of Aztech Geothermal the topic, “Are Electric Heat Pumps Ready to Replace Natural Gas?” three (3) times at three different events through February and March. John Ciovacco, Aztech Geothermal

Are Electric Heat Pumps Ready to Replace Natural Gas?  A New York’s new Climate Law indicates the state will effectively stop burning fossil fuels to heat buildings by 2050.  So, in the next 30 years the vast majority of NYS’s buildings will need to convert to electrically driven space heating and hot water. This program will examine the present state of heat pump technology to meet the challenge and identify gaps where technology advances or alternate solutions will be required.  We will discuss the implications of this profound transformation for architects, engineers, mechanical contractors, equipment manufacturers, utilities, and building owners.

John will be presenting this seminar at:

2020 Northeast Home Performance Conference, being held February 11-12, 2020 at the Saratoga Hilton & City Center in Saratoga Springs, NY.

The Capital District’s 40th Celebration of National Engineers Week being held on February 13-13, 2020 at the Marriott Albany on Wolf Road in Albany, NY.

NY-GEO 2020: Electrify with Heat Pumps! also being held at the Marriott Albany on Wolf Road in Albany, NY on March 25-26, 2020
