Aeowyn Kendall, CGDIT, CGI, AI
Staff Hydrologist / GHX Design Specialist
Aeowyn Kendall, IGSHPA Accredited Installer (AI), IGSHPA Certified Geothermal Inspector (CGI), AEE Certified GeoExchange Designer in Training (CGDIT)
Aeowyn focuses on commercial and thermal energy network Ground Heat Exchanger Designs using software tools like Gaia GLD. She conducts studies of project hydro-geologies to aid in understanding on-site formation’s hydrology and unconsolidated and bedrock layers, all of which impact the thermal performance of a closed loop geothermal system. Aeowyn processes the data and produces reports for Aztech’s thermal conductivity testing to further increase the accuracy of commercial ground loop designs. She also supervises borehole drilling sites and acts as safety officer for important projects, often in dense urban environments.
Aeowyn’s master’s thesis focused on temperature impacts from the use of geothermal energy systems in urban settings, and potential policies to enable the advancement of the geothermal technology in the northeastern US.
Aeowyn is an IGSHPA Accredited Installer (AI), an IGSHPA Certified Geothermal Inspector (CGI) and an AEE Certified GeoExchange Designer in Training (CGDIT). She has a BS in Physics from Messiah University, and a MS in Earth Sciences, Hydrology from the University of New Hampshire.
