Aztech Geothermal’s John Ciovacco Presents at ACI Conference 2016

On February 10, 2016, Aztech Geothermal’s President, John Ciovacco, gave a presentation to approximately 100 attendees at the 2016 ACI New York Regional Home Performance Conference held in Saratoga Springs.  His talk entitled Geothermal: Renewable Heating & Coolinghighlighted the increased interest in geothermal heat pump installations from New York policy makers due to the unique combination of energy and environmental benefits.  John discussed the successful introduction of variable speed (inverter driven) heat pumps and higher temperature output water delivery heat pumps.  These and other innovations are lowering the operating cost and expanding the residential retrofit market for geothermal heat pumps.  Attendees were also made aware of the upcoming second annual New York statewide conference, NY-GEO 2016 held in Albany on April 19th and 20th which will feature keynote addresses from high level representatives from the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) and the Public Service Commission (PSC).
