Aztech Geothermal at the Oceans and Climate Disruption: An Earth Day Forum on Environmental Issues

Aztech Geothermal was on hand for the Oceans and Climate Disruption: An Earth Day Forum on Environmental Issues on April 22, 2015 at Empire State College in Saratoga Springs, NY. The event was hosted by the League of Women Voters (LWV) of Saratoga County.

Speakers included:

  • Margie Shepard: An experienced educator, LWV member, and Co-Chairperson of Bring Your Own Bag for Sustainable Saratoga
  • Steve Danna, Ed.D.: A Climate Reality Leader and Dean At SUNY Plattsburgh – Queensbury Branch
  • Andrew (Aj) Schneller, Ph.D.: A faculty member in Environmental Studies at Skidmore College with research experience in the areas of fisheries, coral reefs and sea turtles. 

Aztech Geothermal’s Chris Winckler and John Ciovacco fielded questions from those interested in the environmental benefits of geothermal heat pumps before and after the presentations.
