ALBANY, NY – On Tuesday, a team from Aztech Geothermal participated in a press conference held outside of Governor Andrew Cuomo’s office in support of the NYS geothermal tax credit bill that is awaiting his signature.

Thank you to everyone who supported the effort with a special thanks to today’s participants including New Yorkers for Clean Power,  Aaron Mair, President of the Sierra Club, Assemblyman Peter Lopez, Elected Officials to Protect New York, Paul and Joanne Coons with a geothermal system in their home and Bill Nowak, Executive Director of New York Geothermal Energy Organization.

Not only does Geothermal help combat climate change but as Aaron Mair, President of the Sierra Club mentioned, “The most critical aspect of this industry is providing jobs…this bill puts New Yorkers to work.”

One of Aztech Geothermal’s staff photographers, Desiree Vozna, took a great set of photos from the event: click here. Also helping out at the event from Aztech was Chris Winckler and Max Ciovacco.
